Jamie Oliver eats seaweed to get healthier25 August 2015
Dear seaweed fans,
Today in the Daily Mail chef Jamie Oliver (looking trim and fit) has expounded the benefits of our favourite vegetables. He says:
“I thought seaweed was hippy, globetrotting stuff but our ancestors ate seaweed. It’s got a load of iodine and it’s the most nutritious vegetable in the world. I’m saying lose it in a minestrone because that stuff is really, really good for you. It’s like dynamite – fibre, nutrients, all the minerals, aids digestion – unbelievable.”
To get his health back he also reduced his salt intake using herbs and now gets much more sleep than he used to, along with giving up alcohol in the week. To read the full article, click here.
