Atlantic Kitchen hits press and pop-ups26 July 2015
Dear seaweed converts,
Big news as ever from the home of the sea’s superfoods here at Atlantic Kitchen. Yesterday we were featured in the Daily Mail Weekend section! The chef and blogger Rachel Khoo who writes their food column on page 69 picked up the Atlantic Kitchen range via Twitter – find us here: twitter.com/atlantickitchen. Rachel draws special attention to using our Sea Spaghetti as a gluten-free, all natural pasta alternative, as it grows in long strands and is cooked like pasta in boiling water but for 20 minutes. It is a mystery to me why the entire world isn’t eating Sea Spaghetti three times a week (as I do) as it’s incredibly easy, delicious and is extremely rich in vitamin C, magnesium and calcium among every other vitamin and mineral needed for optimum health.
In local news the very lovely culinary duo Pickled Plates featured our Dulse in their pop-up supper club recently at Nanna’s Pantry on St Paul’s Road by Highbury & Islington, in a dish with cured whiting, pea, pink grapefruit, cauliflower and pulse purée.I’d definitely recommend their supper clubs – keep up to speed here: http://pickledplates.tumblr.com/
Bringing the focus inwards to the business, there have been some changes afoot – Dawn has left Atlantic Kitchen to pursue other projects, I thank her for all her contributions and wish her well on her way!
Finally, keep an eye out for our sampling teams. They are in all Planet Organic stores, some Wholefood stores and will be popping up in the occasional local deli/store in the London area over the next couple of months sampling our range of delicious, natural soups boosted with seaweed. If you haven’t tried them you can pick them up in those stores plus order them on Ocado here, and we’d love you to review them there too.
