Seaweed soup in Ocado!6 June 2015
Dear seaweed fans,
You will be thrilled to hear that things are going from strength to strength, both at AK HQ with our new seaweed soups and more generally in the understanding and perception of seaweed in the UK.
Firstly, Atlantic Kitchen seaweed soups are now listed in London health food mega-stores Wholefoods and Planet Organic. Go check them out there when you’re popping in for your buckwheat crackers or raw cacao mulberries. Also, we launched today in Ocado – see here:
Our seaweed soups are all gluten and dairy-free and, except for the fish in the tomato soup, are vegan. They make a lovely lunch on their own, we’ve added lots of lovely protein-rich ingredients to make them extra filling and satisfying. Also, you can add sprouting seeds, some creme fraiche or a sprinkling of cheese if you feel like.
Its fabulous the summer is here, despite the odd grey day I think we’re doing pretty well! Let’s hope there’s lots of sunny days ahead for harvesting, we are in the middle of the Wakame harvest at the moment, it’s looking thick and lush as it comes out of the water.
Ahead for the summer we are holding lots of tastings in our stores, particularly in Planet Organic, Wholefoods and Selfridges, so do pop along to one of these to check out our soups. I put them up on our social media channels weekly.
Also, there’s a few events in the planning, we will keep you posted when all is firmed up.
Thank you for reading and lovely to have you on board!
